We make sumptuous, organic nut blends with tree nuts (no peanuts). Since 2016, our peanut-allergic founder Mike has been whipping & jarring distinctive blends of nuts, seeds, coconut, fruit & salt. Our mission is ‘to make trust-seeking food enthusiasts smile’. We hope you enjoy our selection!
Hi folks, I’m Tim. I make award winning fresh fruit marmalades and jellies with chilli on the finish. A range of fruit flavours and heat strengths to suit every palette. Hand crafted in small batches in Somerset. Vegan friendly, gluten free. Fruity and delicious, with chilli on the finish.
“We believe in TASTE.
All our marmalades are 100% handmade from fresh fruit, simmered until the peel is soft before boiling to a set with sugar. In our opinion, this is the only way to make a good marmalade. The sharpness and clarity of the fruit shines through.”
I initially began Hembridge Organics from home as an internet box scheme supplying local customers with organic vegetables grown in Somerset, sourcing vegetables from five organic producers. I soon realised that the farmers would grow the same fruit and vegetables as each other resulting in a “glut” for the county. Fruit and vegetables that were either too large or too ripe to fill veg boxes were discarded. Hating waste, I realised that this produce was ideal for making chutneys and jams. At least the growers would get something for their efforts.
